Menstrual Hygiene Management Day

Women Development Centre, Guwahati on May 28, 2025 organized an awareness programme to observe Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Day 2025 on the theme: “Together a with#PeriodFriendlyWorld” in collaboration with WASH Alliance and support by DIE STERNSINGER Kindermissionswerk. The programme was held at Jyoti Prasad Agarwala Centre, Uzanbazar (Jahajghat), Guwahati, Assam. The Resource person for the programme was Ms. Swetangana Bhuyan, WASH and MHM Specialist and State Consultant for MHM (Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management. There were 54 participants who were young women from four localities of Uzanbazar, Guwahati.
Women Development Centre (WDC) is a development centre for the people in North East India for many years. The sisters felt the need to bring structural change to the present way of living especially of the women and tribals.
