Income Generating Training Program for Women

Training on Income Generating Activities was scheduled for 3 days at different project locations from July 15 to July 17. 160 women and girls participated, at first the resource person demonstration was given on detergent, toilet cleaning disinfectant and hand-wash making. It was followed by hands-on training by the participants, they were divided into 3 groups and were given raw materials of the 3 products to prepare. The resource persons during the training explained the ingredients and materials used and its quantity to prepare quality product.
Women Development Centre (WDC) is a development centre for the people in North East India for many years. The sisters felt the need to bring structural change to the present way of living especially of the women and tribals.
