Career Counseling & Life Skill Training for Youth

Women Development Centre organized Career Counseling and Life Skill Training program for the youth from 6 six project areas under the project – Sustainable Improvement in Education and Training of Girls and Young Women from Informal Settlements on the outskirts of Guwahati. The training programme was held on 29th July 2025. Mr. Ravi John Hembrom was the resource person, there were 42 male and 60 female youth participants and 12 staff of different CFS centers participated in the program. During the training program the resource person animated the sessions on career choices based on their individual interests, skills, and values.
Women Development Centre (WDC) is a development centre for the people in North East India for many years. The sisters felt the need to bring structural change to the present way of living especially of the women and tribals.
